Fun Before Dinner

What is it?
Fun Before Dinner is an after-school program for elmentary school kids we (the Salvation Army) run on Friday aftrenoons from 3:30-5:30pm.

From 3.30- 4.30 Kids work on some crafts. From 4.30-5.30 they can choose to spend their time in our game room (air-hockey/pool table/foosball), playing sports in the gym, watching a movie on our big screen projector or to carry on working on their crafts.

Where is it?
F.B.D happens in our community center (222 E. Indiana- 1 block East of Ruby)

Why is  it there?
We want our community center to be just that, at the center of our community. F.B.D. is a chance for the kids in our neighborhood to come and use our facilities, and have fun in a safe and loving environment. We carry out background checks on all our volunteers, and all are required to go through additional "Safe from Harm" training- designed to ensure that our kids are always well taken care of and always protected .
How much does it cost?
FBD is a service we're happy to provide for free. If you would like to contribute to the expense of craft materials  etc then we would suggest a $2 donation per child for the 2 hour session.
